Wendy Broderick

As CEO, Wendy Broderick, oversees all Harvest Hope Food Bank operations and services for people in need across 20 counties in South Carolina.  Broderick brings a lifetime of community service experience to the Harvest Hope team, previously investing nearly two decades with the YMCA of Columbia.  She has managed development, marketing and strategic planning for organizations.  In 2014, the Greater Columbia Business Monthly named Wendy one of the “Top 50 Most Influential People of 2014”.  A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Wendy has demonstrated a talent for building relationships in the community and unifying support bases.

Prior to accepting a role with Harvest Hope, Wendy had established herself as a trusted friend of the organization. She worked with Harvest Hope to help children benefit from the Kids Café program, and championed the YMCA’s year-round feeding programs, securing sponsorships and donations for sustainable support. 

In her personal life, Wendy has demonstrated a commitment to improving her community. She has served as chair of the Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce, and President of the Rotary Club of Blythewood. She currently serves as Rotary District 7770 Literacy Chair, and on the AFP Central Carolina Chapter Board of Directors. Wendy and her family reside in the Blythewood community of the Midlands.
